Pack-Out Half Done

Wow, it seems like not so long ago that I was writing about our last packout sitting amongst a roomful of boxes, and yet here we are again.  I gotta break down a giant Ikea shelf this evening and get that ready for day two of the pack-out.  We may or may not head down to the Apple store this evening...there's gotta be something left they sell that I can buy before we leave the country!

iPod Touch 2.0

I waited around all day for the new firmware; yet Apple, keeping with the recent theme of screwing everything up, failed to deliver. So I took matters into my own hands for now, and I am loving the App Store! When it becomes available, however, I do plan to purchase the official release.

iPod Touch - iHave it!!

Not only did I snag an iPod Touch early, but I was able to publish the first consumer-produced unboxing of it on Youtube. There is only one other similar video on Youtube, and it is by a tech blog. So, almost 500 views in the first 12 hours; this video is going to be pretty popular.

This blog is dying...

I'm not sure what the point ever was of having a blog, but it is starting to feel pretty useless now. I tend to journal elsewhere, in a more private fashion, so this just seems like a place where links go to die. I can e-mail people links to vids if I feel it is that important. Otherwise, I just really don't see the point. I have a page on last.fm, a flickr account, and a youtube channel. That should be enough. This is just a waste of time. Besides, nobody follows it anyway. So there's that. And I don't really ever post much anyway. I regretted deleting my last blog, because it actually did have some decent rants, etc., that I wish I had kept, but as I scan down this page, nothing. Besides, I don't really like to leave an internet trail anyway. I'm happier when people don't know where I am or what I'm doing. So this blog is definitely labeled "endangered" at this point.

IPHONE UNLOCKED!!!

NO, NO, NO!!! I don't want it, don't need it. I love my Razr. The iphone is too expensive...but I could use it in Europe...ARGH!!
